Community Services
Vision
Our vision is to mobilise the Body of Christ within the church and to have the ingredients of an authentic community. We wish to serve with a missional attitude, therefore fulfilling our overall vision of faith being lived out in action. We desire to be the Church who CAREs and to reach out and impact our community for Jesus.
Mission
As ambassadors of God, whose heart is for His people, our key approach will be focused through relational evangelism. We believe that people want to touch, feel, hear, see and taste God in the community, personally and all the time.
Our efforts aim to be from a holistic perspective, impacting all aspects of life and making a difference through our labour of love, kindness, generosity of spirit and to meet people at their point of need.
Community Partnership
Caring for our community
We have established a community partnership with Anchor Community Care to assist with educational funds, living skill programs and material aid.
We are also in consultation with Knox Community Volunteers Group to explore potential community partnerships to serve the needs of our community. Our focus is on making room for what God can do through new ways of thinking and action in Caring for our community.
Through our Community Services ministry our hope is for the church to develop a greater understanding of our generation, without compromising our understanding of the truth. To enable a greater cultural sensitivity and respect for others in our community.
